1. Overview
At Joud Gifts Shop, we strive for maximum customer satisfaction. If for any reason you are not pleased with your purchase, you may request a return, exchange, or refund under the following terms.
2. Return Period
- You may request a return or exchange within 14 calendar days from the date you receive the item.
- For defective or damaged items (arriving broken, incorrect, or malfunctioning), you must report the issue within 48 hours of delivery.
- After the 14-day period, we may decline return or refund requests unless in special circumstances.
3. Return Eligibility & Conditions
To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must:
- Be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition as when delivered
- Be in the original packaging (box, seals, tags, protective wraps)
- Include all accessories, freebies, gift packaging, and documentation
- For promotional or discounted items, exchanges may be accepted, but full cash refunds might not always be applicable
We reserve the right to reject returns if the item shows signs of wear, damage by user, missing parts, or is outside the policy period.
4. Return Methods & Shipping Costs
- Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to an error on our side (defect, wrong item).
- We recommend using a tracked/insured service — we are not liable for packages lost in transit during return.
- You may also return directly to our shop in Amman (if feasible).
5. Refunds & Exchanges
- Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or exchange request (usually within 5 business days).
- If approved:
• For refunds, we will process the refund via the original payment method.
• For exchanges, we will ship the replacement item (if in stock) after receiving the returned item. - The time for the refund to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider.
6. Non-Returnable Items / Exceptions
Some items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Perishable goods or food items (e.g. opened chocolate packages)
- Custom-made, personalized, or custom engraving items
- Items that are damaged after delivery due to misuse
- Clearance or final sale items (unless defective)
7. What to Report Immediately
- Wrong item shipped
- Item arrived damaged
- Missing parts or accessories

8. Restocking Fees
In rare cases, if the returned item is not in resalable condition (e.g. packaging opened, missing elements), we may deduct a restocking fee (e.g. up to 15%–25%) from the refund. We will inform the customer before finalizing the refund.
9. Policy Updates
We reserve the right to modify this return policy at any time. Changes will apply to new purchases going forward. All past orders will remain under the policy version active at their purchase time.
